What do I have to do to participate in an online lecture?

  1. Access  LMS@Hunimed via SSO
  2. If this is the first time you are accessing the course, you must register by following the Auto enrol procedure;
  3. Enter the course page and click on the lecture link – “Virtual Room”.
  4. Open Teams App e confirm your participation in the Team by clicking on “Join”.
  5. On the Teams page that displays all the Posts of the lesson click on the Join button to enter and follow your lecture online.

FAQ

How to enrol in a LMS Course? ​

From this academic year 2020-21 the student must search for the course of interest in LMS and do the Auto Enrol procedure to enrol and access a course he is attending.

What is the Auto enrol procedure?

The Auto enrol procedure is the procedure that allows you to enrol in a course the first time you access it, these are the steps to be taken:

  1. Access LMS@hunimed and go to your dashboard;
  2. In the main menu on top page select your degree courses;
  3. Search the course and select it to enter in page enrol;
  4. Click on the “Enrol me” button to access the course;
  5. Now you are enrol in the course and for next time you will be able to access directly.

The procedure will only be required the first time you access the course, for subsequent access to that course it will no longer be necessary.

How to access Teams and take part in the lecture?

To access the Team related to the teaching subject go to the LMS page of the course and click on “Virtual Room”, when connecting to Teams you can choose to enter Teams via Browser or alternatively open the app. We suggest to use the app.

Is authentication required to access Teams?

Yes, to access Teams you will need to use your University credentials in the format name.surname@st.hunimed.eu and your password (the same password used for the mail).

How to join a lecture on Teams?

  1. Access the course page on LMS@hunimed.eu;
  2. Click on the “Virtual room” icon on the course page and join the lecture team;
  3. Click on participate to join the lecture team;
  4. Confirm your participation in the Team by clicking on “Join”;
  5. On the Teams page that displays all the Posts of the lesson click on the Join button to enter and follow your lecture online.

How to review your lecture?

  1. Go to the LMS page of the course and click on “Video Lectures”;
  2. Connect to Stream by entering your credentials if required (name.surname@st.hunimed.eu);
  3. The system will connect you directly to the course channel where there are also videos of the lectures.
