Wi-Fi eduroam

Eduroam will enable our students, researchers, faculty and staff to securely obtain wireless network access across campus and when visiting other participating organizations, simply by activating their laptops, smartphones or other mobile devices. The eduroam Wi-Fi roaming service is free-of-charge to users.

How does it work?

With eduroam installed on your laptop, mobile phone or other device there’s no need to request special accounts or borrow other people’s IDs – just activate your device and you should be online.

Simple Wi-Fi Set Up Instructions

Most users at the Humanitas University access the internet via the eduroam Wi-Fi service. This shows you how to connect to eduroam Wi-Fi.

The simplest way to connect to eduroam Wi-Fi is to download the eduroam CAT (Configuration Assistance Tool). This ensures a standardised set up and assurance that the configuration will work most effectively.

To do this:

  1. Go to https://cat.eduroam.org.
  2. Click eduroam user: download your eduroam installer and then select Humanitas University.
  3. If you have an Android device, click Android, otherwise click All other systems.
  4. Click the Download your eduroam installer button for you system (you may need to click All platforms if you do not see the right one listed)
  5. Run the installer. Your username is in the following example format:
    • username@hunimed.eu  ( if you are a teacher)
    • your email address ( if you are a student)
    • username@humanitas.it ( if you are a researcher).

Then insert your CampusID password.

See more detailed instructions on how to download and install eduroam CAT.
